Creating a visual about self-love is something I’ve wanted to do for a while, and I did it. This process was exciting, nerve-wracking, scary, but ultimately so much fun and I’m so proud that I pushed and challenged myself to do it. The purpose of this video is to shed more light on going through a self-love journey. It’s not easy. You’re growing, changing, and it can be uncomfortable because there are times when you are extremely vulnerable. I also want this to inspire people to create, and know that you can turn pain, hurtful comments, opinions, whatever it is into something beautiful. I think we often hear people say that they’re going through a self-love journey or are on a self-love journey, but we rarely get to see one, so I wanted to create something that shows mine and highlight exactly what I went through to achieve and gain that love for myself.
You don’t need so much to create something that has purpose and is meaningful, you just have to believe in yourself and trust the process.
